On a trip to the California coast, the image of friends helping each other across a log (the only way to access the beach) stayed in my mind. How often do I stop and notice someone else needing help. What if the things that are obstacles to them, aren't obstacles for me. Will I still stop? Will someone else do that for me? The beauty of the landscape heightened the image for me. What a beautiful thing, sometime taking the time to see the needs of another and stopping to serve them.
I work from my photos of images that have stood out to me. I use a zerox paper lithography process to get my base image, in prints like these. It often takes multiple prints to get an image I like. Then I build into that image with oil paint and water soluble colored pencils. I love the combination of the black and white print feel with the softer addition of oil paint. ©2017 Mixed media print

It is framed with a contemporary gray frame. Art arrives wired and ready to hang on your wall with a signed certificate of authenticity. It can be displayed on your mantle, window ledge, shelf or wall. I use professional grade oils with high quality color pigments that have resistance to fading.
